Translucent Opaque Artistic Vintage Murano Style Vase

Hand blown vase is exquisite art glass featuring a vibrant opaque red-orange glass body with delicate millefiori (murrine) flower inserts embedded directly into its surface. This piece just sparkles!   Such hand crafted pieces are traditionally made in Murano, Italy.

This unique process utilizes cased glass (layering colored glass over a white or clear inner base) then it is infused with the millefiori. The piece is egg shaped, is pre-loved and Circa@ 1960s. 

It is almost 10 inches tall, almost 6 inches in width with a smoothed bottom at approximately 2.5 inches.  No apparent flaws, chips, fading, nicks, slivers or cracks.
