Vintage Murano Style 12” Art Glass Vase, Heavy Red Confetti Mace, Italy

Murano style, Mid Century Modern art glass vase. It is approximately 12 inches tall, is weighty at 4.3 pounds.  The piece is a bright red heavily decorated with incased confetti glass pattern. It is pre-loved with excellent care.

Incased glass is known as Incamiciato.  It is hand blown using the heavy jacketed technique.  The outside red layer is infused over a thick milk opaque white inner core. The usual pontil base is smoothed off and a hallmark of premium hand blown studio craftsmanship. The piece is in pristine vintage condition, no chips, cracks, flea bites, given its Vintage Circa@ 1970-1980s. There is one microscopic black speck inside vase embedded within the glass from the original firing, a common characteristic of authentic mid-century production.  Unsigned (original paper/foil no longer present).

Please note: there are no flaws or scratches on this piece, the sheen, the light is reflecting and so there are no scratches whatsoever.
