Thailand Blessing Hand of Buddha.  Southwest Asian bronze Thai religion mounted on wood. This hand gestures represent, known as Mudra.  

 is ‘Hands Down’ There are Two types of Mudra.  The palm facing outward, that specific gesture in Buddhist art is known as Abhaya Mudra, signifying protection, reassurance and fearlessness.

A raised rosette chakra is visible in the palm of the hand, adding to its symbolic significance. Circa@ 2006 or earlier.  Pre-loved with good care.
