J.G. Durand Crystal Clerval Pedestal Bowl, France

This elegant pedestal bowl is a Vintage French crystal piece from J.G.Durand.  It is done in the Clerval patten known for its distinct swirls that reflect the light.  The Clerval series was produced Circa@ 1970-1999 under the Cristal d’Arques brand. The piece should be hand washed with great care and is the medium size, measuring 12 inches across top, 8 inches tall with a 5 inches width base, and is 24% lead crystal.  Clerval is characterized by curved ridges or ‘swirls’.  Given it is lead crystal, it is weighty at about 5.5 pounds.

This pre-loved  piece is in excellent condition considering its Vintage, no flaws, chips, cracks whatsoever.  It does have  that high quality crystal ring when tested.
